I never thought I’d relate so much to a 70 yo man. The struggles he had with his father is exactly what I went through with my mom. One of the hardest parts of my life was watching my mom not use, but go through the struggles of schizophrenia. It’s so hard on everyone involved, and so hard to treat, even still. My mom is doing better now. But it’s taken so long to get here.
