A few notes so far:
The main character is literally the exact same person as Mark Watney in The Martian (by the same author). Only now, 11 years later, the constant references to «nerdy» media just doesnt hit the same. Marvel has gone mainstream, and I have less patience for the «Bazinga!» type of scientist than I did in 2015. Still! The story has me hooked, and I can eye-roll my way through the worst Marvel-refs.
