Elisabeth Ensor What are your thoughts on this? I'm going to hear her speak in September and wondered if I should read it before then!?

Mary Beth Are you going to Wild and Free too?! I'll be there! She has several other books like The Lifegiving Home that I know she's well-known for and may be more universally applicable. This book is wonderfully healing and helpful if you grew up feeling misunderstood and like you don't fit in, and/or you have a child you are struggling to understand that is "different". They do a wonderful job of giving tools to people who are just a little outside the box, not necessarily clinically diagnosed with things like ADHD and OCD like her son. If you tend to be a person that automatically writes off people's struggles with simple labels such as "discipline" issues or "health" issues you will also find this very eye-opening and may help you understand people who are different from you. I'm loving it and crying my way through it. :)
