DNF at 42%. I tried really hard because the idea of the book was great. The dialogue was what really got me. The FMC was always saying “Um” and “I-“. Also the characters never used contractions in their sentences.. it was always “Do not go there” “I cannot”, “I will not” , and it just made it harder to read.
