Crap, I just dropped my kindle and now it has a black strip in the middle of the screen...and I was at the part when Mystery Man gave her JC shoes...Damn!!!

I think you just broke the screen, Mitzi. Stripy screen is never a good thing. :(
Dang. I tried rebooting and still have black stripe in middle of screen...At least I had the 2 year warranty and it's still covered!

My kindle keeps freezing and now it's gotten so bad it's really annoying. I have the 2 yr warranty and think I may have to get them to do something soon.

Getting new K3 on Thursday!! I emailed customer service, they called me in less than 2 minutes and gave me warranty phone #. They were super nice and when I told them it had black lines on the screen...she said, ah well, we'll just call it a factory defect and send you a new one. You'll get it in 2 days...only they don't have the K2 anymore so they are sending a K3. Yippee....now I just need to buy a new cover!
