I know this is essentially an exaggerated parody, but nonetheless this entire work would have read better if the subject and setting had "officially" been the Red Air Force (with some topical re-working), or perhaps even the early-war days of the Luftwaffe. I will be glad to have this insanity wrapped up soon.

If the Army Air Corps was even a fraction of this dysfunctional in reality, it's truly a marvel that any air campaigns succeeded in WWII.
