Wow 1/4 of the way through and I am already blown away by how entertaining this book is! The dystopian drama? The love triangle? The societal intrigue? 10/10. Very interested to read the rest of this series!

The more I read I quickly began to realize the terrifying parallels between our world and the dystopian world of the Illium. If anything this book is a realistic critique of the current state of the things and a great example of what happens when government control is taken too far.

Only a couple chapters in and I am already intrigued by the wild dystopian, propaganda filled world of the Illium. This story parallels that of Divergent (by Veronica Roth) and even Crescent City (by Sarah J Maas). The rebellion uprising of the Beneath has begun, the love triangle has already begun to tangle; let the chaos begin.
