This book is so off and on. Some chapters are so good and some are so boring. With 30 pages left though this book was not what i had hoped for. Felt like just such a drag. The plot line barely progressed and we’re basically in the same situation as the end of the last book. 3.7-3.8/5

Lets go thats way better. Chapter 38 was great. High stakes and the end when Calens manacles were undone and his eyes opened and were purple was great. Valerys’ roar to end it was great. Very good chapter

I feel like so much is happening but also so little is happening all at once. There are way too many characters that im getting lost in story lines. The main plot feels like it hasnt progressed at all. Right now id give it a 3.4/5. The things actually happening are cool and all but idk
