Ah! This is not light hearted at all. Please check trigger warnings as there is a lot of trauma that multiple main characters are experiencing. I’m not sure this is what I expected from the cover and from blurb!!!!! I also would say that to call this a retelling of Persuasion is a bit of stretch other than the fact that they are together when younger and social class separated them and then they run into one later
