A year-in-review stat from my local public library system - the Hillsborough County, FL Pubic Library Cooperative:
In 2025, 45,092 new patrons signed up for library cards, bringing the county's library card rate to 66%. Nice!

The library card rate measures the percentage of households in the county that have a library card.
