Done with book #1. Why are do so many women characters have gender neutral names!? (Taylor, Jenson, Carter…) Decent story though it was slightly laughable that all these women lost their life because they had the hots for Walker. And the “cannot open myself to love after so much loss/afraid to lose again” trope is my least favorite. But the mystery was decent as was the romance I guess. For an insta love plot.

I’m not a fan of the lack of disclosure in books 1 & 2. Walker should have told Taylor about the kidnappings/missing people as a reason not to hike or run alone. She at least would have known to keep alert. And Tessa would be safer if more people knew to keep an eye out for suspicious people who might be looking for her. It’s sort of ridiculous she doesn’t.
