It then goes back to the other Summer, in America. She also just learned about her dad having another family. Except she's never met them. She only knows the girls name Eloise. She lies in her room thinking about everything

Summer stays over Jaques for dinner. They celebrate her birthday and she sleep over in Jaques older sisters room. When she leaves she knows that it will probably be the last time they see each other. She walks back into her Dad's house to face the music

After she explains, Jaques says he thought they were related. Mainly Jaques thought they were related like cousins since they looked similar. But then when he went to pick her up he picked her up at what he knew was Eloise's house.

When Aunt Lydia questions which one, Summer replies the one in France. Aunt Lydia says "But that's a painting of-" and then stops. Summer asks what and her Mom is glaring at Lydia, which makes Summer even more confused. Aunt Lydia says sorry it's nothing but Summer knows it's not nothing. Her Mom then takes her out and tells her that her dad has a family in France and the painting is of his daughter named Eloise.

On her birthday she goes to Orogolio's, where she goes every year, with her family and her mom's boyfriend. Without Ruby this year however. Aunt Lydia gives her a picture of her taking a picture underneath a tree. She says "thanks now i have two portraits of me including the one from dad". Aunt Lydia looks at her and "says what picture of you?" And her mom glares at Lydia.

At the creek they talk about stuff. Hugh tells her how much being the mayor's son is a pain and she tells him about how her father wasn't really in her life cause he's in france. They go for a swim and then go to Summer's location. Just before they leave he kisses her. Even two days later she's still not over it.

The next day Hugh texts Summer if they wanna hang out for their project. On her way out her Mom asks her if it's ok if she can invite Max to Summer's birthday party. Summer says not to invite Ruby. Summer was suppose to choose a place but she didnt so she says Hugh can go to his choice first, which is a small creek.

As her mom's driving her home she tells her she's going out tonight with Max, the security guard. Summer gets mad at her mom and storms into the coffee shop. Ruby and her get a fight.

On their trip to new york they take a bunch of pictures. She and Wren just hang out and then Hugh joins them to. On the way back she sits with her aunt.

It then cuts off to the alternate Summer,back in America. They're taking a field trip to New York to take pictures of the scenery.Her and Wren just happen to sit next to each other. They talk and it ends up Wren talking about her boyfriend, to Summer's surprise wasn't Hugh. She was also happy that they were just friends
