Dystopian worlds where people live underground always break my heart. The thought that they’ve never seen the stars, or felt the sun on their skin, or stood before the sea or the mountains… hits me so hard. And every fucking time a character experiences it for the first time, I cry like a baby.
These stories are such a powerful reminder to never take nature for granted. I can’t handle it 😭
