Please Victoria, I'm begging you, stop writing about Lila Bard. I have never disliked a female lead as much I despise Ms. Delilah Bard! This woman is deeply self-centered, frustratingly and confusingly immature and dangerously trigger happy. There is no change in her character between the last book of Shades of Magic and this one, which are 7 years apart.
