Zoeys birthday: everyone attends; witch balls break; Sam (Peppers mom aka charlotte) shows up wanting money but Oliver’s Aunt Lucy rescues them; she was the one breaking in and by the dumpster. ‘Charlotte’ stays for Mac; his mom’s ghost is free (Camille). Zoey gets her Dellawisp book and knows FA is the author. Pigeon is Zoe’s mom as a ghost who leaves the day she goes to college; seen off by her 4 friends

Lizbeth ghost - met Duncan: he was nearly 40 she was 18. Her dad had recently passed & Lucy was acting out getting into drugs & at the hospital every weekend. Her mom kicked her out and Duncan (a recovering addict) moved in. Lucy came back home and got pregnant with Duncan. They were using and got caught; sent to jail. Liz raises baby so he isn’t put into system (Oliver). Duncan OD’d 3 days after his release

Oliver advises Frazier that he will come back to the island (his mother’s place) after all. Frazier takes the week to do renovations

Zoey gets her car. Mac gives her and charlotte a full island tour now she has a vehicle.

Oliver arrives late at night and broke. Wakes up Frazier (Rosco!!!). Identity is revealed. No one knows the famous writer Rosco is Frazier.

Charlotte and Zoey enjoy a special dinner at the hotel where Mac works (chef). That night Charlotte finds her door unlocked and is frightened so she goes to Mac’s house. She spends the night. Tells him about her friend Pepper who died of pneumonia on the commune but she is still afraid someone may find her. Also tells him the night Lizbeth died, money went missing from her place.

Fraser calls Oliver (Lizbeth’s son) to tell him she died. He wants nothing and will sell her condo. He is with a girl he recently met, waiting to hear if he got a job as a hotel manager (of an environmentally friendly hotel).

Zoey tells Fraser that Lizbeth’s door has been unlocked 3 nights in a row. He says he will change it soon.

Mac is a redhead resident who lives across from charlotte. He works as a chef. His mom Camille is the ghost that Lizbeth recognizes (but has ignored) from when Liz was a little girl.
Mac believes he spreads cornmeal every night as that was how he found his mom, covered in cornmeal. Another night with a sound heard; by Mac this time in the garden. after 1:00 when Zoey left the balcony - waited up for Mac to get home

Charlotte befriended Zoey and gave her a witch ball (you hang to catch ghosts), that pigeon broke. Zoey asked charlotte if she heard anything the night before; she had; Zoey said Lizbeth’s patio door was unlocked even though she locked it

Charlotte remembers her time at the camp with her friend Pepper; how charlotte ran away at 16; Pepper stayed.

Charlotte, a resident, who did henna out of the market by the sea could no longer afford rent. Benny, another artist came over; they talked about getting a new location together and were romantic. He left in the night. She found him the next day as $1700 was stolen; she thought he took it (denies); he said a woman who was smoking was outside when he left. Same woman seen by Zoey with a flashlight; Liz door unlocked

Zoey moves to Mallow island to the condo that was her mom’s 12 years ago before she died, the summer before Zoey is to start college. The dellawisp is the name of the place and also the name of the turquoise birds that follow the residents (mostly the landlord Frazier). Lizbeth doesn’t like any noise and the others are used to her moods; she dies under a bookshelf that night; animosity towards Lucy her sister.
