I would finish your first read through so you can see how it ends. Part 2 really is very good but part 3 is *everything*. It's definitely a book with a lot of reread potential, I've read the original work (Manacled) 2 times and Alchemised once

I have heard about manacled, and also that Alchemised is an upgraded version of it, I never got around to reading it. Are the plot is different ?

They are basically the same. The magic system is changed and the names are changed but all the major plot points and most hard hitting lines are the same. Alchemised is definitely better. I'm actually a bit jealous of people who got to read Alchemised first because I couldn't help but constantly toggle my mind back and forth between the two

I went into Alchemised totally fresh, so I just let it wreck me without overthinking it lol. I kind of get why you’d be jealous though, it’s so different when you don’t have another version running in the background. I can see how reading it second would change the vibe and all though.
