I love the way V.E. Schwab describes death. Not a peaceful thing that looks like sleep. It's hollowing. Like something has been ripped out of a body and left behind a corpse.
It should be obvious, but I've never thought about it that way. I've always taken the 'it looked like sleeping' and never thought anything of it.

I cannot even begin to describe how little of a f I give about Maxim and whatever his plot is
