Dex's first time being a tea monk was a disaster. I know these types of jobs take time to master. In my opinion, the women they got their first time was difficult. The situation the woman was in was unusual, and I would also probably not know what to say. I also feel like Dex was super unprepared for how hard it was going to be to be a tea monk. I think for Dex to succeed, he is going to need to learn from somebody.

When Dex is talking about his family and remembers the good old times when he was a kid. It reminded me of when I go home alot of times on the car ride home, I have flashbacks about growing up. The smell of campfires and eating a s'more with my Dad and brothers. The board games that would go untill we fall asleep. My favorite memory of them all is eating my mom's food every day.

The city Dex is coming from seems to be like a utopia of the future. From the readers perpective, the city looks perfect and a place that nobody would ever want to leave. So when Dex decided he wanted to leave, it made me think why he would want to leave. I think the reason it makes sense to want to leave is that cities are high-speed and can be demanding. That's why, going to be a tea monk, he can find peace.
