He bullshitted a bit to Bodrig, i.e. the transmutation lol.
The Empire is indeed corrupted though. Capable men like Riose are suppressed. Riose's real enemy isn't the Foundation, it's the Emperor.
At least Devers escaped, and Barr is still with him.

Wow, Devers and Barr just got to Trantor because they want the Emperor to start fearing Riose and Bodrig, therefore suppressing them, indirectly helping the Foundation.

Declaring war on unknown political entities seems pretty dumb though.
Where's the Second Foundation btw? I think it's in the later story.

Wow, the Foundation's people sent Riose back.
But who are the real magicians? I don't think the Foundation is the real cause of the cults etc. They must be mismatched, I think.
Btw, the First Empire sounds like a fool lol. It's already near the ultimatum, but the aristocrats, mostly the emperor, are still playing the game of power. Stupid as hell 😂

The Foundation has really become the land of traders—definitely plutocracy. Mallow built it.
Riose, by his arrogance and pride, intrudes on the Foundation.
It feels like the "magicians" are actually just the traders from the Foundation.
But what if it's from the Second Foundation? I'm not pretty sure.
