the pit and the pendulum was cool! not supernatural horror like his other stuff but a prisoner deprived of his senses trapped by a swinging pendulum scythe

the black cat will ALWAYS trifle with terrible awful men make NO mistake

i knew the premise of the tell tale heart but had never read it! read that line and said “yeah poe wrote that for sure dude”
