Nap time. No feel so wells. Hopefully, I finish this and start painting my new piece since I got the sketch done. Goals. As much as I've enjoyed this series, I'm ready for a break. It's SO freaking long.

The smut is pretty top-tier and well worth the wait. This scene in particular is A+.

I need some short books to read after this series, shheeeeeshers.

Gosh, I can't believe how much Kane has grown on me. The complexity of these characters is really well done. I'm just so upset that so little of the main plot exists in this book.

I feel so awful for all of these men. They all have horrific backgrounds. I really need to know Jasmine's past, though.

Not as good as book 1. Le sigh.

The sex scenes are so worth the wait. I mean, they haven't truly had sex yet, but you get it. I am sad they aren't bonded yet.

Kane being such a smooth mf despite being so standoffish is so surprising, but I love that for him.

I'm still enjoying this, but the action and main plot have taken a complete back seat while only focusing on the interpersonal stuff. It's disappointing. This far in, there should have been some development with Jasmine's old friends and/or The Order, but it's just been about the harem and their relationships. There's been some background info and I'm still content w/the slow burn, but I'm getting bored.
