@Miranda I’m having to make a note that has all the characters and their Greek mythology counterpart… already seeing some differences between Greek mythology and the novel

I mean, I guess the point of it is to dramatize, but I keep thinking, what is that even supposed to be saying?? Is it just for the fun of it? Because It doesn't seem fun when I hear you talk about it.
@Miranda I don’t think Greek mythology needs to be dramatized it’s got plenty going on as is I feel like it’s just to get more sells but I’m a stickler and a gatekeeper for Greek mythology so I might have a skewed view on it

A lot is going for it when it comes to drama. That's even more confusing to me, then. Doing it for sales is probably realistic, but I didn't know there was a great demand for mythology retellings, honestly. I imagine if a romance or drama story is good and advertised to any extent, it would push it out there without it being related to Greek mythology. So I don't really know, I'd probably have to really put into perspective how much people really buy Greek mythology retellings just for the joy of retellings lol
