Beautifully sad. My eyes have let a few tears drop and I’m not even half way in. There is just so much unfairness and anger that Lanston has to confront. I felt the same thing too at the ending of The Fabric of Our Souls. Why did it have to be this way. Why couldn’t he make it out with his friends? Lanston and Ophelia have each other. They will try to make it to the after. I know I’m going to cry more.
