I always wonder of there is a reason why authors feel the need to use "fancy" synonyms instead of simple words when writing.
Gesticulating instead of motioning, or desultory instead of aimless.
Words should make a sentence flow, not test my vocab knowledge 😂

I love it so far but the banter is just not hitting me atm
