Now I just don’t like where the direction of the book is going. No longer am I bored but at what cost? This is a real line from the chapter I just read.

Wouldn’t have read this much if I wasn’t on a long car trip right now, and I would’ve read more if it didn’t get so dark so quickly, because MAN the writing style of this book is so boring. If not for my motivation to finish this I wouldn’t be reading it, not that it’s like a terrible book or anything but it doesn’t entirely work for me. I’ll elaborate in my big review at the end of the book.

Was gonna start reading this later but because i’m a slow reader and i want to see the Ridley Scott adaptation opening night I’m starting it now. If I finish this it’ll make the movie the first movie I’ve seen in theaters that I read the book prior to (Requiem for A Dream and Catching Fire don’t count because I didn’t finish them).
