Such were the early generations, who raised the banner of la ilâha illâ Allâh over the mountains, plains and seas of this world.
As for those who came after them, they witnessed defeat instead of victory, failure instead of success, humiliation instead of glory.
Why is that? It is because they were content with the life of this world, preferring it over the hereafter.

“For the one who always keeps death in mind, the little that he has will seem to be much” when thinking of the destroyer of pleasure ( death ).
My modern day add onto this is cosmetic procedures, in an islamic perspective and opinionated ( myself ) it’s haram of course, but also you will die anytime, tomorrow is not promised, why should 1 insecurity rule out a definitive that I should change myself for society

The poet said : “O you who are eager to accumulate wealth, accumulate more [if you wish], for the joy of wealth will turn into grief and sadness”
The destroyer of pleasure is death, we will all face the agonies of death, nothing is promised, tomorrow isn’t promised. These worldly gains will not be with us in the grave, for nothing will benefit the deceased except his good deeds, tasbeeh, dhikr & prayer.

Abdullah said : “When we came to wash him, we tried opening his fingers, but they would not open and they remained clenched, as if clinging to the phrase - لا إله إلا الله.
Live in a way that keeps your ♡ attached to faith, not just your hands - dhikr is a reminder of the importance of remembering Allah SWT. This is all proved by the sincerity of the heart during life.
