I can’t help but need my head canon to be that the rangers and whoever is out looking for him
All that mess will die down

And he’ll realize he’s infatuated with the fmc and return to her cabin

And it’ll be fucking surprising and a half to find her pregnant or gave birth

She could even die from childbirth or any number of things

He could be dead too

I hate everything up in the air

And I just know
There won’t be a conclusion

No idea if the mcs ever meet again

Is he off in the world somewhere doing god knows what

Is she still in her tiny cabin
Raising their kid

Will he ever know

Ughhhhh

I hated this ending though
All that fucking build up

The blase sentiments and moments throughout
But especially that ending

I’m the type that needs to know what happens next

I didn’t know this was a short story when I started
It’s been nearly a week and I finally got to reading this though
Less than a hundred pages

And I hate it

Should’ve known with this damn author

Goddamned cliffhanger
