Fred, Crabbe, Snape, Lupin and Tonks have died. I knew only about Fred and Snape - and Snape died horrifically. I knew Harry was a horcrux! And knew the spoiler of Snape protecting Harry all this time, but I’m not sure he ever really cared for Harry… not Dumbledore for that matter. It’s all effed up.

I like Dumbledore less now… but of course, he wanted Harry to be the better man. The third brother of the Hallows. Volde and Dum are two sides of the same coin, seeking to escape tragedy, but Dum was working for the good of other wizards, witches, Muggles, and admittedly has some selfish motives. Volde just wanted power for himself. Climatic explanations are normally confusing, but this one was done well.

Preparing the moment we all have been waiting for - Harry v Volde, war! Ariana’s story is heart-wrenching. Neville and McGonagall are the shit.

So much has happened, I don’t even know where to start. Dobby’s death was heart-breaking. As the enemy rises in power in affluence, our main characters and friends get some rest and stake out their next plan, which turns into chaos. I love that the scene with the dragon is the scene on the book spine illustration. Ron and Hermione’s care for one another is growing.

The humor and sharing information over a radio program is brilliant. We are nearing the end…

So much has happened… Ron facing his darkness and smashing the Horcrux was the most impactful scene for me. Were Harry and Hermione being SHIPPED? Sure felt like it. Devastating that Luna was taken. The part of Nagini coming out of Bathilda was so damn confusing and crazy, which is the point. I had to reread it.

Threads are adding to the plot. Lupin’s and Harry’s fight and guilt, Dumbledore’s backstory, things turn to shit at the Ministry, HRH on the run. How do Volde’s memories tie into the overall plot and plot twists? The authorities in the Wizarding world are turning into a racist regime.

Ron and Hermione are CUTE. The action scenes were great, making the read enjoyable and speedy. Harry figuring out his trust in Dumbledore is completely understandable, and relatable. Regulus giving his life for Kreacher and his family was something I was not expecting.

Luna is the best, Auntie Muriel is the worst, what does Theophilius’ necklace mean, and it’s about to go DOWN

Sad, terrible, and tragic - it was not confirmed if there was a traitor in the Order. The ante is up - Harry is still feeling Voldemort in his scar, people dying one by one. The better parts were Tonks and Lupin and George joking about his ear.
