I've held off on reading this as a treat for myself, getting to read Rothfuss' writing for the first time again. I'm still enamored by the depth of feeling his writing provokes.

I love how his style goes through shifts as the story progresses. Using different techniques, the writing never ends up repetitive or boring. It's always distinct chapter by chapter, but it's still recognizable in its fundamental beauty.
