Yikes, lots of (past) rape in this one. The author does NOT shy away from some pretty vivid descriptions of past assaults, either. I'm definitely proud of both MCs for how they felt with their trauma, though. Doesn't make it an easy read but a lot of easy reads aren't worth it, anyway.
