Coetzee is brilliant, if you enjoy this one I highly highly highly (lol) recommend reading Fiona Snyckers’ Lacuna which is a companion book to this one. She asked Coetzee’s permutations use not only his story and characters but the cover art too. It is superb and will really get you thinking about both books and the way they sit together.
