So far ok, but it’s an obvious first or early effort from the author. There is dialogue like ‘Splorking Day? Whatever is Splorking Day?’ And someone says ‘Well as you know, Splorking Day is the biggest holiday of the year and has been celebrated for 6000 years and it’s the day when everyone’s careers are decided’ and so on. There are much better and more skilled ways to drop exposition.
