ok so the whole “I’m plain jane” trope is so aggravating and to make it worse that she has low self esteem also some passive so in the beginning of the book and cancer?! like she never had a chance and im past half way and her confidence doesn’t get better. not that im really expecting it to but i just hate that in a fmc. also how does he love her? ok, we’ll skip past that, then her not being allowed …
