Oh. Also, the cultural appropriation feels super icky. And I’m not finding practical application to use this book in my life. It’s all words, not action. Very much like a man wrote it! Ha. It’s a mansplaining book.

I get this but there’s something missing for me so far. It’s a lot of words that I’m not connecting with but I understand. So it feels off. I’m in the ritual section which is interesting. The African village feeding each others babies was amazing to hear about. I doubt an American would do something like that.
