I feel like this could relapse to the palace, the Sultan, and have an additional line of narration going on. But I understand it could be tricky, as it's a debut and all. So I'm going to begin suggesting linear narratives in my reviews, so that the stories become more complex and better as such.

Just wanted to add that I'm having deja vu reading this book.

I don't know where I was mindset-wise 4y ago, but I'm having a vague recollection that I must've skimmed through this book, not having a clue about the narration or characters, probably was uninterested, dnfed and was stupid back then, to add. ;D

14%: She'll probably get locked up in a cell or thrown in a hole (they've got prison holes, in which you fester till death).

15%: She gets herself captured and arrested, but only to do a favour for the Sultan (wasn't locked up, but in a way she was to remain in the palace)
