Omg update listening to Munich security conference - America could not give a yes or no answer whether article 5 would be triggered if Estonia’s Russian speaking part was invaded.. exactly what Carlo hypothesised in the book

So far quite a harrowing depiction of what could be our political reality in a few years time. The description of the US president is painfully accurate and the depiction that national interests take precedence over any international affairs, including Article 5 of NATO, is pretty hard (not surprising!) to read.
