Pg 109-113: Jill “Doll” Blaine has just taken off from her charge and whisks through the guests at the wedding nearby. I truly enjoyed this part. Jill whisks through Jeanie, her husband Walter, Kent (Walter’s boss and Jeanie’s lover), and Kent’s wife Carol-Ann. This whole scene is very cohesive. Genuinely could have read more about these characters than anyone else in the book so far.

I’m really not loving it. I think the story could be good, but the style in which it’s written… it’s just not working for me. I’m finding the choppiness exhausting. It’s hard to keep track of what is going on. I have to really keep focused and paying attention or I just find myself lost. It’s hard to even visualize what’s going on because I’m so focused on the words.
