I am going to have to go against the grain on this one. I think the writer is recently talented and thankfully, does not over. Use adjectives or adverbs. The world feels interesting, although not amazingly unique (see Steven Brust’s houses of Draegera). But she’s not good at narrative point of view and actual story telling..
