Currently halfway through Blood & Steel by Helen Scheuerer (audiobook edition), and I’m really enjoying the direction of the story so far.
One thing I genuinely appreciate is that the FMC actively wants to be in the trials. There’s something refreshing about a heroine who chooses the challenge rather than being dragged into it by fate or circumstance.
