So far I feel let down by this compared to All the Colors in the Dark. I feel like it’s reading heavily melodramatic, like why do the children speak like the adult characters? lol you’re telling me a 13 year old would talk exactly like the 50 year old butcher in town? Idk man it’s taking me out.

Everyone speaks like they’re in a book if that makes sense but I’m like, the 13 year old probably wouldn’t talk that way haha
