Putting this down as a DNF, unfortunately. I keep avoiding reading because I'm just honestly not in the mood to read this. Maybe it's because it's too heavy, but I also find it extremely slow compared to the first book. Lauren is becoming an unlikeable character (she gets way too preachy with Earthseed) and I honestly find it to be a bit annoying. But I have a lot of issues with that stuff in general...
