Definitely feels like a remix of several elements from a Song of Ice and Fire. I go back and forth between liking this story and getting rather annoyed with it. Any time we focus on matriarchy versus patriarchy it feels pretty shallow, but the politics, characters, and world building aren’t half bad. Like I do legit like this plot, but it’s really pushing it.
