Katie Daughtry is 52% done

Really imaginative short story collection. I just finished “Story of Your Life” (the one that inspired Arrival), and it’s easily my favorite so far—smart, mind-bending, and way more emotional than I expected. I loved how it weaves big, high-level science together with humanity, language, and anthropology in a way that feels both intimate and expansive.
