Just got through Swann in Love and as I'm getting more familiar with how Proust writes (long sentences, minimal line breaks) I find that I need to properly focus in order to fully grasp how the words dance.
That was the most accurate description of the ugliness of love and how it transforms you into something unrecognizable to yourself.
Anyway gg's Swann. Last few pages and can finally move on to the next book.

This is my "reading project" of the year. Planning to read the entirety of In Search of Lost Time (Because sometimes it's good to do what you're supposed to when you're supposed to do it). Just finished with the first part of Swann's Way (Combray) and the prose is difficult. But the language blooms on you and it will reward you if you give it your attention.
