What is it with the Greeks and killing babies

Sometimes I wonder if authors of Greek mythology retellings have a list of every major name and see how many they can check off in a single book 🤔 I mean it makes sense here with the courting scene and obviously there are only so many characters (and lots of them are involved with Sparta/Helen/Troy/etc). I guess mainly I’m talking about Percy Jackson here tbh…still fun though

Unfortunately I can only imagine Tantalus as the actor from Percy Jackson season 2 and it’s really killing the “super hot king” vibe (no offense, Timothy Simons…)
