love the 14 year old narrator. She's spunky and quite adult because of her bakery responsibilities. Also, enjoying the magic system: small vs large magic. Curious if there will be a larger explanation of it? getting small tidbits of world building and would love to know more in general. Kind of getting the medieval vibe but it's not explicit (unless I missed something...)
