Knowing now what I know about what’s going to happen to the silos I am astounded. What seems dark enough in premise is made even darker by the fact that only 1/50 silos will make it and that it’s random essentially which ones will. I can’t imagine being in that boat and trying to figure out what or how you can unfuck that awful situation.

Almost done with the second book. It’s been quite enjoyable. I don’t understand the hate the second book attracts

This book gets wilder by the day lol

Started book 2 now. The reason America nuked America is because Israel n Iran fighting. I actually cannot with how close this feels to the current day reality

Finished Wool. Juliette being made mayor wasn’t on my bucket list. Bernard dying was a bit of a bummer. He’s a great character (villain) in the show. Very well portrayed. Book 2 being more of a prequel is also a surprise. I hope we get back to Juliette n Lukas and Jimmy and the kiddos. I’m dying to know what happened to them.

There are more difference and while they don’t feel too different from the overall show the small differences they are making are making me like the world building of the book better than the show. The book leaves more to the imagination and while you can use show details to fill gaps I like the gaps

I watched the show first. The way season 2 ended I was determined to figure out what might happen by reading this book. So far it’s pretty great. It seems the show is mostly faithful and I can’t say I mind the changes.
