This feels like fan fiction 🫣 the real life band name drops and songs are driving me insane. It doesn’t feel natural at all. It feels like the author wanted to name drop a list of his favorite bands. The main character is also so 2005 emo boy coded. There are so many references to his “cutter scars” but in combination with the metal references he feels more like a caricature.
