this kinda suffers from the same thing six of crows suffers from where you wonder the entire time why these characters are between 16-19 years old when they could easily be aged up a couple years and the plot and story significance would be exactly the same. like wtf do you mean sel is an 18 yr old junior in college?? he couldn’t just be 20? and bree 18??
