As someone who has watched their episode before reading the book, I thought their story was too simple to read and I even debated returning the book after reading the first couple chapters because they were indeed exactly as how was portrayed on the show.
But the more I read the more I notice all the tiny missed details, mostly about Scott’s feelings and how soft he is, Valentine’s day, Kip calling him sweetheart
